What is this Tau heresey!!

A friend of mine gave me his Tau stuff and I really needed to paint something else then Terminators.

The entire look of Tau vehicles is so very different, more fluid. This also means more sanding, filling and all that. Here's the first pic of the Devilfish:

More sanding, filling and wondering about painting schemes still to do.

Landspeeder

And while all the terminators, bikers and Landraider need finishing I decided to sprue up my Ravenwing with a Landspeeder.

Magnetized for regular, Tornado (?) and Master of the Ravenwing fit.

Asmodai

Had to look a round to find this model quite a bit. Finally found one in the discount bin somewhere :P. Librarians aren't that awesome for DA, but the model is just nice.



Not too happy with the banner, will have to mess with it a bit more.

Bike Progress

Bikes are kind of done, now all I need to do are the riders.

New paintings and repaintings

I didn't really like how the FW venerable dread turned out (the top part at least) so I spend a while cleaning that up entirely.

It was a pain the get the basecoat off. That basecoat turned out to be reason it looked bad because it was rough and not smooth at all. Lots of Muscle ovencleaner and old toothbrush scrubbing later it was ready for a respray.

It turned out better this time, with some painting it now looks like this:

Terrain Board

Only took us about half a year but we finally finished the terrain boards. We had a few dismal failures, but once we got the colours right, it went pretty smoothly. There is prob more room for improvement with detailing (like the skull pits) but good enough for now.
